By Air :

Samoens is just under an hours drive form Geneva airport allowing for a fast and easy transfer to your accommodation.

Aerlingus now fly direct from Dublin and Cork to Geneva due to the increasing number of Irish choosing the Alps as their ski holiday destination. Its worth remembering that the earlier you book the better the deal !

Easyjet provide low fare flights from Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, East Midlands, Liverpool, London Gatwick, Manchester and Newcastle to Geneva. With the increasing number of low budget airlines offering flights to the UK from Irish regional airports this is another option. This does entail taking an extra flight but it may often work out more cost and time effective !

By Road :

Samoens is between 8 and 10 hours drive from most Channel ports. The motorway comes within 20kms to the town itself, with a breathtaking last 20 to 30kms. Do it in one go or break your trip by stopping in Paris, Reims (for Champagne) or Beaune (for Burgundy).
